Pull apart a div or the like in CSS?

    Hello All,

Have a rather strange question! I have had a request from a client who wants an image of a cracker on their website, and when you click on it it opens-up where you see an online form they fill in.

Now, to be honest I have no idea where to start. My first thought was Flash, but id rather not do it in Flash.

Can anyone recommend anything maybe via CSS they could provide links to that could give me ideas?

    Thanks

in short, yes its possible although perhaps flash would be easier if you are proficient with it. (i'm not!)

this can be accomplished with a combination of Jquery/mootools

I'd look at the Bounce library, in combination with EaseIn and the animation functions.

    http://viralpatel.net/blogs/2009/10/...e-html-js.html here as well

My guess is two or more DIVs absolutely positioned on top of another, whcih contains the content form. On hover/click, animate the divs apart using a combination of effects. If you can use PNGs for transparency you could have a two half-crackers and get then to line up as one if that makes sense.

possible indeed, and a very nice effect
