    Hoping for some feedback - CSS positioning issue?

    I've inherited this monster http://is.gd/52JNB and was wondering if someone can tell me why in IE8 only there is a huge 200px gap between the header and the content?

    My tools are leading me towards the direction of the header causing the issue. I've tried removing divs and id's and am still scratching my head...

    thanks

    edit - not sure of any tools in IE8 that can be of help?

    I don't have IE8 so I can't help much there. I can say that I've heard that the developer's toolbar for IE can be of some assistance (though nothing like Firebug, for instance). On that topic, there is Firebug Lite, which is a javascript version of Firebug that runs on IE. It's not nearly as handy, but it does allow page inspection which might help.

    It's usually a good idea to start out with this at the VERY TOP of your CSS: * {border:0;margin:0;padding:0;}
