    strong css for columns/rows?

im using ASP.NET and using a repeater control.

I want to be able to make my items that are being bound, to be able to display x items per row using CSS. ive done this before for a client but the client had their own graphic designers who can do serious CSS which worked but i do not have the styling at hand.

how can we control how many items to display per row with the styling?

    any ideas?

I want to be able to make my items that are being bound, to be able to display x items per row using CSS. What items? Are you using table tag? If so, you can dynamically generate the code for a new </tr><tr> to end the current row and start a new row, with the help of % operator .

no, not using table tags at all. just pure css/divs if possible.

Just apply float:left; and a width to them. They will get aligned in rows depending upon the width of container element.
