    Making h title a link

    Hello,

    I have a heading like:

    <h2 class="content">Accessories</h2>

Now, I make this a link. So, it becomes:
    <a href="...."><h2 class="content">Accessories</h2></a>

When I made this heading a link, would this still be considered as a heading

    A) semantically
    B) and for SEO purposes?

The anchor should be inside the heading, not outside.

And Yes it is still considered a heading, as far as SEO is concerned if anything it would probably assume the page content the heading is on is related to the link.

But tons of blogs and sites use this for their h1 tag:

    <h1><a href="/">Site Title</a></h1>

Then use an image replacement technique to replace "Site title" with an image and have this as the site logo on all of their pages.
