    Problem with multiple classes

    Hi all,
    I have created a menu in my website and there are multiple classes applied on it. This is what it looks like:
    <li class="parent active item29"><a href="#">Menu item 1</a></li>

    I'm trying to access it's style using:
    li.parent.active.item29 a{...}

    but it's not working. Am I doing something wrong?

    I don't see anything wrong in that. I'd recommend you to validate your CSS using http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/.

    Or they might be some more specific selector, which overrides the above one.
    Could you post a link to your page?
