    Vertical Nav Positioning Problem in IE

    The site is here:

    pawzforhealth.cmcconnell.com

    I am having trouble figuring out why the nav menu is centering vertically in FF over the background image but not in IE. See screenshots. It's just a little off in IE for some reason... How can I fix this?

    You can fix it with some conditional css for IE like this.

    Code:
    <!--[if lte IE]>
    <style type="text/css">

    #menu{
    margin-top: 10px;
    }

    </style type="text/css">
    <![endif]-->
    Put that in your header (you will have to change it for your css). Change whatever is positioning your menu (it might not be margin-top, I didn't check)

    What version of IE is this in, because it looks vertically centered in my IE8?

    If you have the line-height already set correctly, then it must be the entrie nav is being pushed further down in IE rather than the vertical centering problem.
