    Help needed with Contact Us page from template

    I am new here and pretty new to the world of coding. It is a hobby more than anything else and have just done my girlfriend a basic website for her business.

    I downloaded the template from dreamtemplate.com and played about with is to get it looking the way she wants it, however there is one thing I cannot work out how to do...

    On the contact us page I presume a piece of code needs changing for the emails to come through to her email address but I cannot work out how to change this. Below is the piece of code I think needs changing, however if this is not the correct section of code, let me know and I will look for the correct part.

    Can anyone advise of what needs changing to ensure we receive the emails.

    Thanks...

    Code:
    form method="post" action="/frms/contactmail.pl">
    <input type="hidden" name="SoupermailConf" value="/frms/contact.con">

    well...the method is POST. that's one thing. do you know what the action is doing? that is the part that dictates weather or not you will get the information back to you or not. it looks like the code is looking in a server folder called "frms", and running the contactmail script. I have never seen a PL extension before and have no idea what that means.

    The input element has nothing to do with the sending of the form info. If I were you, I would write a PHP script to get all of your form data sent to you in a fashion that is readable. 3rd party form submissions are terrible, and they're hardly ever readable when you get them back (in my experience anyway). do you know any PHP? this would not be difficult to write, and most of it is just submission method referencing of fields and their values

    Hi,

    Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately I have no experience of PHP. Is there a standard script I can take from somewhere that will do what I need it to?

    The basics of what I need is for the form detail sent to my gf email and then the user redirected to a thank you page. Would this be a simple script?

    Thanks again.
