    css rollerovers tag

    Hey there,

    I just stumbled on this forum and I think this would be a perfect place to post this question.

    on my website, threedash.com, I am currently creating a navigation bar by CSS using sprite.. (im sure this technique is super old, but it's super new to me ) lol

    so for the main page (the only one i've built), i was hoping someone could look at the code and tell me how to do i set the "welcome to threedash" to only show the "active" state, and not the "normal" state.

    thanks in advance to anyone who took the time to look over my codes.

    Code:
    a.homenav {
    background:transparent url(/images/home_sprite.jpg) no-repeat scroll 0 -119px;
    display:block;
    height:119px;
    overflow:hidden;
    padding:0;
    }
    which is the same background positioning for the sprite as a.homenav:hover.

    It moves the background position of the sprite for the homenav so as to show the "active" image.
