    Resizing Google Search Bar Help!

    Hi,

    I have a google search bar on my site, you can see it here: http://www.caffevinci.com/caffe_vinci_site_search.html

    Is there a way to resize the box so it's not as big?

    Thanks

    This site should be exactly what you need:
    Google: Shrink supersized search box
    http://userstyles.org/styles/21761

    You probably will get an idea how to fix your own from this.

    the code:
    Code:
    @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

    @-moz-document url-prefix("http://www.google.com/"),

    url-prefix("http://images.google.com/") {

    /* SHRINK SEARCH BOX */

    INPUT[name='q'], INPUT[type='text'],

    table.gac_m {

    font-size: 10pt !important;

    padding: 0px !important;

    margin-top: 5px !important;

    /* -moz-appearance: none !important;

    -moz-border-radius: 5px !important;

    border: solid 1px black !important; */}

    /* SHRINK SEARCH BUTTONS */

    INPUT[type='submit'], INPUT[type='button'] {

    font-size: 12px !important;

    margin-top: 3px !important;

    }

    .gac_bt {display: none !important;}

    /* MOVE SIDE LINKS */

    A[href*='/advanced'], A[href*='/language'] {

    padding-top: 5px !important;}

    }

    I did a very crude and quick fix this way:

    Code:
    <div style="width:200px">
    <div id="cse" style="width: 300 px;">Loading</div>
    </div>
    By creating additional DIV around the cse-DIV I forced the inner div
    to become smaller. Good luck
