    Exclamation First time using a template from zip file, need a little help

    I'm using a template from a ZIP File and am not sure on a few things.

    This is the template I want to use.

    There are several items in the zip file and have some questions on how to use them and how to upload it on my site.

    These are the files that are listed in the zip file (I'll post the images and coding at the very end of the post):

    img01.jpg (some kind of space with a border around it - not sure if it's needed)
    img17.jpg (picture of sunflower - which I'm not going to use)
    img18.jpg (picture of some building - which I'm also not going to use)
    img19.jpg (picture of a big boulder with a craving of a face it - not going to use)
    img20.jpg (picture of a lake and some trees - not going to use)
    spacer.gif (blank space and opens in browser - not sure if it's needed)

    index.html (obviously needed)
    license.txt (Legal stuff)
    style.css (obviously needed)

    So, here are my questions:

    1) What are the purpose(s) of the images, img01.jpg and spacer.gif?
    2) On my current layout, the directory part of it has two sections per line and I'm not sure how to keep it that way with the layout I want to use. Is it possible? If so, is there anyone willing to right the code up for free (I'm asking a lot - I know)?

    Many thanks for any help,
    James

    Here is the coding:

    just upload all files to a directory (folder) on your server.

    The spacer is typically used for layout but, I did not find the spacer img in your code so it might not be used.Then again I may have overlooked it.the image with the border around it is probably a background image.

    It loos like the image with the border is your page background.
    Code:
    #page {
        width: 960px;
        margin: 0 auto;
        padding: 0 20px;
        background: url(images/img01.jpg) repeat-x left top;
    }
    2) On my current layout, the directory part of it has two sections per line and I'm not sure how to keep it that way with the layout I want to use. Is it possible?
    not sure what you meant by "the directory part of it" ...

    Exclamation

    Thanks for help for the first question.

    The directory part of it means all the text beneath the heading "Directory". I have two categories of the directory on each line and want them to remain like that. I am wondering if the coding in the template that I want to switch can support that. If so, I would not be able to code it correctly without tons of help and wonder if someone could that section of the template. I want to save the trouble of posting for help with the coding probably 4 or 5 times and waiting for someone to respond (if at all).

    Many thanks for any help,
    James
