    problem: only certain blocks of css are called ino

    I am calling in an external .css sheet which seems to only call certain blocks of code within the sheet. In order to get the other code to work I must put directly into the head tag without calling it.

    Why is this happening?

    my link:

    http://royalvillicus.com/photo_site/...e/photo_1.html

    Here is a sample of the code that cant be called in through an external sheet successfully.

    Code:
    <style type="text/css" media="screen">
    .color	{

    	background-color: #000000;
    	font: 16px Helvetica, Arial;

    	}

    a 	{

        	outline: none;

    	}

    img 	{

     	border-style: none;

    	}

    .gradualshine
    	{

    filter:alpha(opacity=50);
    -moz-opacity:0.5;

    	}

    </style>
    There is more than this, but this is just a sample.

    It seems that not much is being called in properly.

    Thanks a lot for your help

    Thanks a lot, I am sure that helped take care of some of the issues involved, but it still doesnt seem to work.

    A couple of errors I couldnt figure out are these two:

    131 div.base Parse Error div.base1 { width: 760px; height: 255px; border: 2px solid white; align: left; vertical-align: top; } div.menu { width: 350px; height: 255px; border: 2px solid white; align: left; vertical-align: top; } div.specs { width: 400px; height: 255px; border: 2px solid white; align: right; vertical-align: top; } div.base2 { width: 750px; height: 540px; border: 2px solid white; align: center; vertical-align: top; } div.slide { width: 750px; height: 500px; border: 2px solid white; align: center; vertical-align: top; } div.nav { width: 750px; height: 30px; border: 2px solid white; align: center; vertical-align: top; } div.feed { width: 600px; height: 400px; border: 2px solid white; align: center; vertical-align: top; } a { outline: none; } img { border-style: none; } .gradualshine { filter:alpha(opacity: 50); opacity:0.5; } div.position { position: center; attachment:relative; width: 760px; margin: 0 auto; }
    131 div.base Parse Error [empty string]

    The first error is all of the css code I am not sure what it is asking for.

    The second one is at the end of the script, seems like its asking for a closing bracket or something to that effect.

    Thanks a lot for your help

    Code:
    div.base {

    	width: 761px;
    	border: 2px solid white;
    	position: center;
    	attachment: relative;
    	margin: 0 auto;
    } /* missing!*/

    div.base1 {

    	width: 760px;
    	height: 255px;
    	border: 2px solid white;
    	align: left;
    	vertical-align: top;

    	}
    The following highlighted items are invalid.
    Code:
    div.position {

    position: center;
    attachment:relative;
    width: 760px;
    margin: 0 auto;

    	}
