    the content which you want to bring front should have more z-index than the content which display behind.

    I'd recommend you to remove all absolute positions and z-indexes, except from the logo(which is to overlapped with other elements), and use floats for making your 2 columns in the middle. In that way you don't have to puzzle around the z-index values.

    ksanjanadevi, the z-index for my logo and nav are larger numbers then the rest of the z-index's.

    Thank you for your opinion abduraooft, I will have a look into that now!
