    Apply AlphaImageLoader to an input of type image

    Hi,

    I am wanting to apply the AlphaImageLoader function with the parameter sizingMethod set to scale so that my image scales using a better algorithm in IE 6. This works fine for the following example where no input is used:

    Code:
    <DIV ID="myDiv"
    	STYLE="position:relative;
    	height:250px;
    	width:250px;
    filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='logo.gif',sizingMethod='scale');"></DIV>
    The problem I am having is that I am using an input of type image and the following style doesn't work as I can no longer click on the input.

    Code:
    <DIV ID="myDiv"
    	STYLE="position:relative;
    	height:250px;
    	width:250px;
    filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.AlphaImageLoader(src='logo.gif',sizingMethod='scale');">
    	<input type="image" style="width:8.625em; height:3.44em; filter:progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Alpha(opacity=0);"
    	src="logo.gif"  />
    </DIV>
    I am sure this can be solved using JavaScript but was wondering if there was a CSS only solution?

    Thanks for your help

    http://www.hrunting.org/csstests/iealpha.html would give you some hints about your issue. You'd need to remove that position:relative; from the div's style.

    Also check http://www.satzansatz.de/cssd/tmp/al...nsparency.html
