    div trouble

    hey there, I'm having abit of trouble with my divs.

    #footerone {
    background-image: url(images/img_03.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat;
    background-position: left;
    height: 74px;
    width: 100%;
    position: absolute;
    visibility: visible;
    left: 0px;
    }

    i wanted the div to sit up tight left to the page which it does, but when i got to add another div anfter it just sites in front of this and not below?

    Hi there twistedsoul,

    from the minimal amount of information that you have supplied, it is difficult to give a precise solution to your problem.
    But I would suggest that you add this...
    Code:

    body {
        margin:0;
        padding:0;
     }

    ...to your stylesheet and remove the highlighted attributes from the rule supplied...
    Code:

    #footerone {
    background-image: url(images/img_03.gif);
    background-repeat: repeat;
    background-position: left;
    height: 74px;
    width: 100%;
    position: absolute;
    visibility: visible;
    left: 0px;
    }
