    Are you using a fixed width for your "content DIV"? If so, combine you left and right shadows and apply it as a background, with repeat-y.

    Actually i already have one image coming on the top of content .

    Is there any way i can have other images on the sides?

    I have tried combining the image on left and right and applying as the background but nothing is appearing i don't know why

    i am using
    <div id ="wrapper">

    <div id=header>

    </div>

    <div id="content"

    </div>
    <div id="footer">

    </div>

    </div>

    The short answer is that you cannot have more than one background image in one div. There are many workarounds to this. Try Stu Nicholls CSS Play and put 'shadow' in the search box.
