    Have a try by adding background:none; to your #nav li ul

    Not to hijack the thread, but I had a similar issue in a css-only menu and this sorted it out perfectly. That was bugging me for months. Thanks!

    It's usually a good idea to start out with this at the VERY TOP of your CSS: * {border:0;margin:0;padding:0;}

    Hi mikacruz,

    It's working perfectly on my system with both IE6 and IE7!

    Maybe it is just your system - try flushing some temp internet files or rebooting?

    Good luck!

    there was actually an issue and adding this fixed it :
    Code:
    #nav li:hover {background-position: 0 0;}
