    hyperlink positioning

    Does anyone know how I can define a class so that the following hyperlink "Next" is not on a separate line but is immediately after the last word "1990s."

    PHP Code:
    The Red half of the capitalare the second most supported team in the nation but are the most popular when taking into account neutralsThe Crips are the third most successful league side having landed 2 titles in the late 1990s.  <a href="#" onclick="changeIMG('forward');" class="link-blue p-space-removed">Next</a

    PHP Code:
    .p-space-removed {margin:0 0 0 0;} /* above left below right */
    .link-blue font-family"calibri"font-size100% ; colorblue ; }
    .
    link-blue:link {text-decorationnone}
    .
    link-blue:visited {text-decorationnonecolorblue;}
    .
    link-blue:active {text-decorationnone}
    .
    link-blue:hover {text-decorationunderlinecolorblue;}

    Anchors are inline by default, and they must stick in the same line when used with another inline element or some text. There is nothing present in your above posted CSS to change that behaviour. So, post your entire CSS+HTML or a link would be better!

    You have
    Code:
    .right a, .left a {/*default.css (line 250)*/
    display:block;
    }
    , which makes that anchor, a block type element.

    To override this, try
    Code:
    .link-blue:hover {/*default.css (line 212)*/
    color:blue;
    text-decoration:underline;
    display:inline;
    }
