can I put a form in email?

    Hi
I have a form I want to email to my friends to get them to fill out. The form is created in html and posts when filled out to a .php file on my server which should then put it in the mysql database.

Can anyone tell me whether this will work on email or an alternative way to collect data from a form or email and then transfer it to a database at a later time.

One option was getting them to simply reply with the details but it will take to long manually adding them to the database.

    Regards

Can't you just host a HTML file on your server with a form, and do it that way? Email them the link?

You cannot embed a form in an email, which people can fill out and submit.

You need to have them submit data to a form processor script, which will check that data submitted is clean ~ and in the proper format ~ before putting it into the db.

The best way to achive this is to provide an online form in your website and to email a link to it.
