    how to make top level popup window?

    hi friends,

    today i have visited Microsoft's home page.
    http://www.microsoft.com/

    there is a add of Microsoft Silverlight. how could i make this top level window with the background darkened until the acknowledgment?.

    That code doesn't compel you to learn them all to use. All you need to do is,
    1)Select a suitable effect
    2)download the required script and related files
    3) Create the link/input elements in your page, as specified there, to call the function

    Now, if you need to get the effect when the page loads, without any action from the user, call the required function in the onload event of your page.

    Also, if you’re seriously developing a website the least thing you should do is learning how to do it or trying to understand it, or else just don’t do it if you’re not willing to learn. Sorry for being harsh but I can’t stand people that want everything served on a silver plate without even trying to understand it and get it done by themselves.

    If something is too hard to understand for you then you can’t have/do it. It's that simple. We’re certainly here to help you if you have a specific question or to help you learn developing websites but not to do the thinking you should do.
