michaelespinosa that won't work, that only deals with alpha transparency not partial transparency.

The only fix i can i think of is to have the blended image be muxed together and just display that.( only for ie6, of course)

    1. What’s the difference between alpha and partial transparency?
    2. Isn’t the actual question, or the pngtransparency htc file, respectively, all about solving the alpha transparency issue? So why shouldn’t Michael’s suggestion work?

Thanks for the suggestions, but i read on there, which no other site told me, is that if it is a repeating back ground it wont work. so now i have to figure out another way, unless someone else has an idea.
