    Script Alterations

    Okay,

    Well in practising web scripting I decided to make a website, it came out okay, looks great.

    But I had problems with the Navigation. It didnt hold enough information, so I tried to create one that had drop downs when you hover over it.

    Example:

    So I tried making one. It worked fine. I put the script into my current site and the navigation failed to operate.

    if anyone can give me a hand that would be great.

    note: To be helpful I made a .zip file of the test page and the scripts: Click Here to download

    It's because you don't have the menu/menu.js and menu/menu.css in the header of the index.html file. I fixed for you, but you're going to have to restyle the menu/menu.css according to your needs.

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
    	"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en">
    <head>
      <title>.: South West Alliance :.</title>
      <meta name="keywords" content="Exigence, exigence, Travian, travian, home">
      <meta name="description" content="We are Exigence, a group of people with some IT skills bulding helpful files -for no charge">
      <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=ISO-8859-1" />
      <style type="text/css" media="all">@import url('style/main.css');</style>
      <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >
      <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="menu/menu.css">
    <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" src="menu/menu.js"></script>

    </head>
    <body id="top">
      	<div id="header" class="suckertreemenu">
        <ul id="treemenu1">
          <li id="home"><a href="#" accesskey="h">#</a></li>
          <li id="service"><a href="#" accesskey="s">#</a></li>
          <li id="bios"><a href="#" accesskey="b">#</a></li>
          <li id="forum"><a href="#" accesskey="f">#</a></li>
          <li id="contact"><a href="#" accesskey="c">#</a></li>
        </ul>
      </div>
      <div id="border-top"></div>
      <div id="border-left">
        <div id="border-right">
          <div id="wrapper">

      </div>
      <div id="border-bottom"></div>
    <H8>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    if (navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer")
    {
    document.write('<font size="2"><font color="red"> If you are using an outdated version of internet explorer your browser may not show the images correctly.     }
    </script>
    </H8>
    	<p>&nbsp;</p>
    </body>
    </html>
    Just replace that with the current index.html file you have.

    You need to add sub-items into the <li>,etc., for the menu to work.
