    A forum... just a great big <ul>?

    Hi all,

The site im working on at the moment ( shameless plug : http://www.graceful-suicide.tk ) is becoming something of an experiment for me in working with purely table-less layouts. The site, being about gaming, is going to require some kind of forum though.

Traditionally, forum layouts are usually defined by tables, and that got me thinking, what would be the correct, semantic way of defining a forum layout in (X)HTML?

So after all that preamble , would/could a forum be defined as a list, and therefore, correctly and semantically speaking, would the correct way to create the HTML be to use lists? or are there otehr options (divs in divs for examples) that i should consider?

Gosh, my post seems awfully politely written, thats not like me at all!
