    Big help needed with html and css

    Hello everyone. I have a website, which I am running with my friend. I have everything i need on the host, and I know everything about the host. I dont, however, know much about CSS or HTML. And my friend, knows absolutely nothing (Thats a quote)
    I use BlueVoda (dont laugh) to design the websites. And the most I know about CSS is how to put in a BG image.
    So, my questions are:
    How do I create global header/footer that gets pushed down by the text?
    On my other websites, I have a script that I downloaded and installed for a downloads website, and Wordpress for a news website, but I was wondering is there any way to make something like that for my review website, like so he can create reviews without having him send them to me to put them up in BlueVoda?

    As far as updating to the site so you dont have to, i would look into Adobe Bridge. Its helpful for some!

    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/bridge/

    for the header/footer

    put this in the head tag

    Code:
    <head>
    <title>blah blah</title>
    <style type="text/css">
    * {
    margin:0px;
    padding:0px;
    }

    #header {
    width:800px;
    height:75px;/*or whatever height*/
    background-color:#000;
    margin:0 auto;
    }

    #content {
    width:800px;
    border:1px solid #fff;
    background-color:#000;
    margin:0 auto;/*dont set a height so the box will increase with content*/
    }

    #footer {
    width:800px;
    margin:0 auto;
    background-color:#000;
    clear:both;
    height:75px;
    }

    </style>
    </head>
    then the html

    Code:
    <body>
    <div id="header">content</div>
    <div id="content">content</div>
    <div id="footer">content</div>
    Thats about as simple as it gets, hope it helps!

    Yes, but you would have to insert the html code into the pages.

    Ok, I just did everything and added a few things that I knew about in CSS. But when i type in the content tags, but when I type a paragraph, it doesn't go to another line.

    try to enclose each tag with a <p>

    then put this in your CSS

    Code:
    p {
    font:/*whatever you choose*/
    padding-top:5px;
    }
    Then in ur HTML

    Code:
    <p>content.............................</p>
    <p>content.............</p>
    Then when u place a new paragraph in the content it will go to the next line.
