    Positioning in Print Stylesheet

    I believe float is to be avoided in print style sheets but I don't know about positioning. This seems to work in IE6 and FF. What problems should I expect?
    Code:
    <style type="text/css" media="print">
    #container{
    	position:relative;
    	width:100%;
    	margin:0 auto;
    }
    #rightcol{
    	position: absolute;
    	width: 47%;
    	left: 50%;
    	top: 0;
    }
    #leftcol{
    	position: absolute;
    	width: 47%;
    	left: 0;
    	top: 0;
    	color:#900;
    }
    #centercol a:link{
    	color:#009;
    }
    </style>

    Positioning generally works but you have to be careful with page breaks. You never know the paper format people are using. But if you have tested it in several browsers with several paper formats and it looks good chances are that everything is alright.
