    Frustrations with Adobe contribute

    does anyone here know how to get Contribute to generate valid code when used by my clients. it leaves things out like
    alt = "whatever"
    in <img> tags
    for example.

    no, i have had the same problem with Contribute too. Sometimes it would even drop certain tags and come out looking stupid. There are also problems with closing certain tags too.

    I have yet to find a solution, i have all but dropped it anyways!

    well its my only option for this budget so I'll have to put up with it, man I would expect adobe of all people to not come up with these issues!

    I'll guess I'll have to leave my nice shiny valid buttons out of this site :~(

    yeah, mabae, I've got a site where all pages are valid except one that uses dreamweaver spry. Unfortunately I can't add the spry attributes as a XML namespace because of the validator so I'm jinxed there I'm afraid
