    getting rid of space between borders

    .carttable table{
    border-collapse: collapse;
    padding:0px;
    margin:0px;
    }
    .carttable td{
    border:solid 1px #5f3f28;
    border-collapse: collapse;
    }
    .carttable th{
    border:solid 1px #5f3f28;
    font-weight:bold;
    border-collapse: collapse;
    }

    how do i get rid of the space betwen hte cells and just show it as 1 border line

    Believe you are working on a table(haven't posted the full code).
    Try by giving cellpadding="0" and cellspacing="0" to your table.

    Or, if it is the problem of right and left border of two adjacent cells, have a try by putting border-left:none; border-bottom:none; to your td. But you may have to put some extra style to get borders for the extreme left and bottom cells.
