    Photo gallery recommendations

I going to use a basic black template for a friends photography site. I'll make a gallery page showing 12 photos. Any recommendations for a gallery layout?

    Thanks

This is a great gallery script and has a black layout by default: http://sye.dk/sfpg/

I like it because it is very simple to use. I have it on my site @ http://emmafrostfiles.com/gallery.php

It looks nice but seems to be very complex. How is it simple? Where do you put your images?

All you have to do is type in the directory you have your images located in by manually editing the PHP script (easy, I did it) , and whalam, it's all set up and created thumbnails on the fly.

Then you need to implement the code on whichever page thru PHP include. The include is provided for you in the README.

If you have dreamweaver there is a great flash/xml plug in available that creates a slide show for you and you can edit it to the style you want. Of course i dont know if you have dream weaver but its very handy for an easy upload of images for a slide show!
