    Problems with padding.

    I am still having problems with my Sources program.
    I am trying to increase the font size of the links, (which is easy) What I am having trouble with is the text being to near to the left side of the container.

    Nothing that I do helps I get results that seem as if I have added to the margin, which I have not.

    Any help gratefully received.

    Do you mean the larger numbers such as 100 101 102.... etc?

    Yes, I want to move them all over to the right a little. My eyesight is poor and I want to increase the font size, (using ems) and to tidy up the left of the containers. I thought it would be so easy, (probably is) but I have not found the way yet.

    It's always the silly things that throw me! I'm getting past my sell-by date.

    this seemed to move them a decent distance

    Code:
    .links {
    font: 900 9px/1.3 "lucida sans", verdana, arial, sans-serif;
    padding: 20px; /*changed this, might be better with left padding increased*/
    list-style-type: decimal;
    margin-bottom: 9px;
    border: 2px solid yellow;
    color: #fff;
    }
    not sure if you had tried this!!

    Yes, Than you.

    I missed it because it was so near to the h1 div I mistook it for part of it.
    I can't upload it yet, because my new computer will not let me save it.
    Vista declares - You do not have permission to do this.

    YUK.

    Thanks. I'll upload it just as soon as I get this so and so computer to obey me.
