Try Google. Look for WYSIWYG editors. There are quite a few there. But generally speaking, the only sure way to see what FF and IE do, is to use THEM to check. Editors are not Browsers, so you do need to check seperately.

    Hello umen,
I don't know of any WSIWYG editor that will dependably render your code the way Firefox does. I know you can't trust DreamWeaver's Design View to act like any browser, FF or IE...
It's best to preview in a browser locally. I check frequently during development with FF, IE7 and IE6 as well as validating - I don't use my editors Design View at all.

Have you looked at NotePad ++
Validate often DURING development - Use it like a splelchecker | Debug during Development |Write it for FireFox, ignore IE
Use the right DocType | Validate your markup | Validate your CSS | Why validating is good | Why tables are bad

hello and thanks for the fast reply
ok so i need some kind of WSIWYG editor i guess something like
VB that lts you drug controls to the main view and then you can play with
control properties like colors and borders and such .
you see i dont really like to spend much time on the html look/view
but focus into the development of the logic client and server

Like Excavator said, you cannot trust any editor's design view. The browsers themselves don't render html the same so how can you expect a design view of an editor to be anything like the browsers. Your best bet is to do what they said and test the code in the browsers themselves. HTML and CSS are worth knowing how to work with. That is what is ultimately read by the user.

HTMLKit uses the Gecko engine from Mozilla for its preview. In my limited experience, this seems to behave just like Firefox. HTMLKit is free from Chami.com.
