Dynamic Sizing of DL, DT, and DD elements

I'm looking for a good way to space the text but since their basically in a table system, I have to define a standard size for each. Is there an easier way to give it a uniform spacing than defining a class for each links?

Also, in firefox there's a large gap between the media menu and the main link bar that isn't there in IE.

    Here's the site: http://www.newcovenant-th.org/

    Any ideas?

What is currently in your stylesheet?

IE can have spacing problems if there is white space between the image and the elements of a table. Try re-formatting this to remove the whitespace.

. . . It's in the drop down menu and IE isn't having the problem. I want to get rid of the large gap.

Ok . . . now there's not even a gap but it rearranges the table in IE . . . I don't know what's going on but I would really appreciate some insight.
