    "Space" Problem

Ok, so the deal is that me and a buddy are working on a graphics-centered site, powered by CuteNews.

So at our website, which is currently under development (Here: http://uploadthis.net/lucas/site/site.php), if you scroll to the bottom there is all this empty gray space.

If I set a fixed height for the light gray div, that doesn't happen.

But if I don't, which is what I want, it does happen.

How would I go about removing it.

    Thanks!

You know, it's really hard to look at something that's password protected.

Try triggering standards mode by putting in a valid DOCTYPE. Here is the XHTML 1.0 Strict one, seeing as your using that syntax.

    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"

There is also a bunch of padding and margin on the bottom of the container div. Might want to adjust that to affect the blank space down there.
Additionally, there is a noticeable lack of contrast for the Paragraph and Div at the bottom of the container div. The cutenews Footer and "powered by" line is not visible. I believe the removal of that line costs money. The reason it is there is for people to realize the Cutenews software is being used. The lack of contrast is hiding it. Not really Kosher of you to do that. IMHO.
