Please help! Select form field keeps showing up in IE

Hi, I have a form with select fields, input fields, checkboxes, etc...and it works fine. My plan is when submitted, a progress image like rolling arrows will show up to let visitors know that the submission is in progress. The problem is that the progress image is showing behind the <select> field.

My script works in both FF and Opera but not IE. Please help!

put that image in some <tr><td></td></tr> OR <DIV><SPAN></SPAN></DIV> whatever you have used.

Try to give some appropriate height and padding to this <td> and try again
