    positionning text in table in relation to BG image

    Hi, i have a table with a background image at this link www.sacred-egypt.com/table
    I want to know how to place the text (which will be links) vertically exactly where i want it to be, in the table without disturbing the size of the latter in relation to the background.
    thank you so much for helping a beginner ;-)

    How about something like this...

    Code:
    <!doctype html public "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    <title>Untitled Document</title>
    <style type="text/css">
    <!--
    .style22 {	font-family: "Arial Unicode MS";
    	font-size: 14px;
    	vertical-align: top;
    	bottom: auto;
    }
    #content {
      text-align:center;
      padding-top:30px;
      font-family:"Arial Unicode MS";
      font-size: 14px;
    }
    -->
    </style>
    </head>

    <body>
    <table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
      <tr>
      	<td width="224" height="170" background="Untitled-1 copy.jpg">
    	  <div id="content">| Dynasties | Pharohs | Wars | Religions | Gods | Temples | Pyramids | Tombs | Mysteries | Egyptologists | Egyptian wall painting | Egyptian jewelries | Glossary | Websites |
    	  </div></td>
      </tr>
    </table>
    </body>

    </html>
