Preserve link rollover action even after link is visited?

    Hi,

I'm creating my very first website and am very excited. I have one issue which is that I have a hover action on the navbar (changes color slightly) but once the link is visited this cool rollover action disappears. How do I keep it so that the rollover remains active even after the link is visited? I don't mind if the "visited" state looks identical to the "link" state. I've searched extensively for an answer and can't find one.

The website can be found here: http://blue.butler.edu/~grao/index.html

Thanks in advance for your help!

the Hover css rules must follow the visited state rules in the source of the css file.

    link
    visited
    hover
    active

swap the hover and visited positions in your source file and it should be good.

    Thanks jlhaslip.

That worked like a charm. Would never have figured that out.
