    Auto scroll And Vertical Nav's

    Hi,
I'm fairly new to html and css,
My question is how do you make a page auto scroll.
For instance when you click on a link in a thread and it takes you to the part where the item is located on the page.

Also can any tell me where to find a good vertical navigation tutorial with fly out links please.

    Thank you for your help.

    Set a div's id
Then set a link to that id

    Code:
    <div id="content"></div>
    Code:
    <a href="#content">Go to content</a>

For the 'auto-scroll' feature, you need to create a named anchor on the page where you want the link to go to and then the link you click needs to have that named anchor as its href=.

you may need to 'shorten' the window to use the sample page properly.
Check the source to see what is needed.
