    Quote Form Help?

    Hi.

    Right, well to start, although you've probably heard it a good few times I imagine, I'm pretty incompotent when it comes to coding and the sort. I can scrape together your horribly basic text & image page, using the wonders of free code generators and whatnot (weak, huh?), but anything beyond that may as well be triple bypass surgery or rocket science for all the good I'd get out of it.

    So, my problem. A certain firm I'm in contact with needs a complete overhaul of their site. Nothing's changing other than it's general appearance (it's a little dull) and it doesn't serve as anything other than a centre for text and image based information, so I can handle all of that. One service the site does provide, however, is some sort of quote form, as shown in the example. Now, it's a mere case of duplicating the previously coded form and changing the elements to fit the new design. However, my problem comes with the submit button.

    Example: http://lasershapes.co.uk/contact.html

    The idea will be to have the customer fill out the fields with all the appropriate information and once they hit the submit button, the information will be sent to a specific email address. Or however it works. If anyone would show me how it works, whether it's possible for the information to be sent to a specific address using the form and it's code as is, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, any alternative methods that acheive the same objective would also be appreciated.

    Again, my coding experiences are limited to the extent that they may as well be non-existant. So this could very well, knowing me, be shockingly basic. So any help would be incredibly, er...helpful.

    Cheers in advance,

    Jay.

    Code:
    <form  method="post" action="index.html" enctype="multipart/form-data">

    <fieldset>
    <legend>Quote Form</legend>
    <div class="contactform">
    	  	    	<div class="required"><label for="m3_12">Full Name</label>
    	  	    	* (including title) <br>

    	  	    	<input name="m3_12" id="m3_12" value="" size="25" maxlength="100" type="text">
    <br></div>

    	  	  	<div class="required"><label for="m3_13">Company Name</label>*<br><input name="m3_13" id="m3_13" value="" size="25" maxlength="100" type="text">

    	  	  	    	<div>
    	  	  	    	  <label for="m3_20">Please describe parts </label>
    	  	  	    	  <br><textarea name="m3_20" cols="80" rows="15"></textarea><br></div>

    					  <div><label for="m3_27">Type of drawing</label><br><br><select name="m3_27"><option value="" selected="selected"> Select One</option>

    					      <option value="DXF file">DXF file</option>
    					      <option value="Print">Print</option>
    					      <option value="Hand drawing">Hand drawing</option>
    					  </select>
    					    <br />
                            <br />
                            <br></div>

    <div>
    	  	  	    	  <label for="m3_20">Comments</label>
    	  	  	    	  <br><textarea name="m3_20" cols="80" rows="15"></textarea><br></div>

    <div class="submit"><input value="Send" type="submit">
    </div>
    </div>
    </fieldset></form>
    That's what I think is the code for the form. I figured, in case it's easier to just alter it and make it work, I'd post it here.

    The form is processed server side in index.html
    You will have to look at the source code (on the server) for index.html
    Somewhere in the document the validation and email address are processed.
