    Menu help please?

    Hi Guys,

    I've created a small menu here: http://www.slougheaz.org/lhs But have been told that I need to make the code more XML compatable.

    How could I get rid of some of those headings I have and create more UL and LI tags and maybe have headings as h3 tags within that menu and still have the same kind of layout?

    Thanks Chris

    Change the div-span-div for a h3 or even a nested list
    Code:
    h3 {
    width:120px;
    margin:0;
    border-top:5px solid #DFDFDF;
    border-bottom:1px solid #DFDFDF;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    font-size: 11px;
    color: #666;
    background:#fff;
    }

    <div id="menu1">
    	<h3>Menu 1</h3>
    	<ul>
    		<li><a href="#">Link 1a</a></li>
    		<li><a href="#">Link 1b</a></li>
    		<li><a href="#">Link 1c</a></li>
    	</ul>
    </div>
    <div id="menu2">
    	<h3>Menu 2</h3>
    	<ul>
    		<li><a href="#">Link 2a</a></li>
    		<li><a href="#">Link 2b</a></li>
    		<li><a href="#">Link 2c</a></li>
    	</ul>
    </div>
    CSS
    Code:

    Also, you may want to wrap up the bottom of your document with
    Code:
    </body>
    </html>
    But that's just me talking.
