How to make this format in CSS!?

How do I make a logo, search bar, submit button, and two text links center correctly with each other? For example once you submit a query to Google and get results and the search bar is in the upper part of the screen, the Google icon, search bar, submit button and links are centered properly with each other. How can I achieve this so that it appears correctly in all browsers? I can't find an example of something which is seemingly so simple anywhere!

There isn't very good cross-browser support for vertical centering, although using a line-height will vertically center inline elements. Most people simply use padding and margins to line the elements up correctly provided you have an idea of their height.
