    Unusual html codes

    Hi All,

    I have a web form for user to input data.
    The data is then put into an Oracle 10g database.
    Problem is that there are some sort of codes put in.

    I.e. :

    Any idea what char the user was trying to input?

    After I.e in above question I had

    with an
    Code:
    ;
    after it, i cant seem to put this in the forum, it outputs : no matter what!!!
    It actually output the char I wanted ":".
    Ha ha.
