    Layout help

    hey, i have a site: http://www.ichumon.com/new/

and when i add content, i would like it so the sidebar stretches down the page so that the content doesn't just overlap on the footer. I hope that makes sense.

Whats the way to achieve this ;X?

your going to need to rename "layout.php" into "index.php" so that it's automatically loaded when people click your url.

but for a quick explanation if i understood you correctly, whenever i try to do waht you say, i have to put the bottom part of the the sidebar in it's own little box, and then set the top part of the sidepart to have like height:100% or something. or better yet, maybe height:auto?

whichever one doesn't push the darn thing all the way down when it's empty, yet grows when theres content that goes beyond it.

I think you are missing your index.php file. Layout.php looks like an include file as it has no html or body tags. Fxl that first, then see if you still have problems.
