    Son of suckerfish - slight adjustment needed please

    Hi,

    http://homer.perfectpresence.com/~crossbra/how.php

    Site in developement - using son of suckerfish menus. If you will please check the dropdown bit (About the Church, Multimedia) there is a descrepancy. Dropdown offset perfect in Firefox/Opera - slightly to the right in IE7.

    Not a hugh deal, but would love to know how to adjust that. If anyone has any info or insights I'd be very appreciative.

    css file here:

    Somewhere in IE you are inheriting a 30pt left margin; it may be a default value on all <ul> and/or <li> elements. Try resetting all elements (or at least those) in the top of your css like this:

    Code:
    * {margin:0; padding:0}
    This might affect other elements you have positioned correctly, so a more specific workaround is:

    Code:
    #nav li ul {
    background-color:#AB742D;
    border:1px solid #5A3D18;
    left:-999em;
    list-style-image:none;
    list-style-position:outside;
    list-style-type:none;
    margin:auto;
    padding:0pt 0pt 0.2em 0.2em;
    position:absolute;
    width:12em;
    }
    When I viewed your code in the IE web developer toolbar, the drop-down looked fine when I adjusted the margin to "auto".

    Thanks, Gary!
    I normally use the global reset, like you mention, but didn't with this site due to the quirky calendar script. I've been having padding/margin issues since the inception because of it... I'm so used to clearing all of that padding from the onset. :\

    Thanks again!
