    layout issue in IE6

    I'm having a problem with my layout in IE. My whole content_outer div is dropping down so it is underneath the left div instead of sitting next to it. It appears to be fine in all other browsers that I have tested it in. I'm quite new to CSS, and I'm sure its something simple that I've missed, but I still haven't been able to solve it. If anyone can help I'd really appreciate it.

    Please post your CSS. I found that if you use absolute positioning and size things according to percentage it is easier to get things in the right place. If you have div_a and div_b and you want them side by side then osmething like this will work.
    Code:
    #div_a{
    position:absolute;
    top:0;
    left:0;
    width:25%;
    height:100%;
    }

    #div_b{
    position:absolute;
    top:0;
    left:25%;
    width:75%;
    height:50%;
    }
    This will place a div along the left side of the screen and it will be 25% of the width of the screen. div_b will be placed on the right of div_a and take up the rest of the width but only half the height.

    Be sure to set margins and padding to 0 or take the measurement into consideration when positioning you divs.

    If you post your CSS I'll take a look later today.

    Hi, thanks for your help. The info at positioniseeverything gave me some ideas, but I'm still yet to resolve this.
    I tried pasting the css in here but it wouldn't accept it, perhaps because it is too big. I've left a copy here in case you get a chance to have a look.

    Thanks again
