    IE7 Bug .

    If you have any element with a float: property and any element with a clear: property (to bypass the float), ANY ELEMENT with a position: fixed property completely disappears in IE7.

    Any ideas folks?

    #body p{
    color: black;}

    #fixed{
    position: fixed;
    width: 15em;
    height: 15em;
    background: purple;}

    #float{
    float: right;
    width: 15em;
    background: green;}

    #clear{
    width: 35em;
    clear: right;
    background: blue;
    text-align: right;}

    #explanation{
    margin-top: 25em;}

    There you go. Open the same page with firefox.

    It only seems to happen if you have a width set on #clear.

    You are absolutely right, that works in this example, but it seems to be the case that the values of other elements properties interfere with it aswell. My other thread related to www.glowstix.biz/product.html and I have now tried changing the css for that side to miss out the width property on the bottom bar. No progress.

    Same thing goes for the height. It works fine if you add some padding.
