    Angry Why does IE have to be such a pain in the neck all the time? SWF onclick

    <object codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" border="0" width="600" height="300" onclick="window.location.href='http://somewebsite.com/'">
    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...
    ...
    This works in FF but not in IE.

    SWFObject is a better solution.

    I guess the most cross-browser compatible way would be to include the onclick event, or a clickable area, respectively, in the flash object itself (Actionscript).
