    Google SiteSearch - How to get it to validate?

    I can't figure out why it won't validate. You would think googles adsense stuff should validate strictly.

    Errors:
    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...Inline&group=0

    Code:
    <!-- Search Google -->
    <center>
    <form method="get" action="http://www.google.com/custom" target="_top">
    <table bgcolor="#b5efff">
    <tr><td nowrap="nowrap" valign="top" align="left" height="32">
    <a href="http://www.google.com/">
    <img src="http://www.google.com/logos/Logo_25wht.gif" border="0" alt="Google" align="middle"></img></a>
    <label for="sbi" style="display: none">Enter your search terms</label>
    <input type="text" name="q" size="31" maxlength="255" value="" id="sbi"></input>
    <label for="sbb" style="display: none">Submit search form</label>
    <input type="submit" name="sa" value="Search" id="sbb"></input>
    <input type="hidden" name="client" value="pub-0109113946023422"></input>
    <input type="hidden" name="forid" value="1"></input>
    <input type="hidden" name="ie" value="ISO-8859-1"></input>
    <input type="hidden" name="oe" value="ISO-8859-1"></input>
    <input type="hidden" name="cof" value="GALT:#008000;GL:1;DIV:#336699;VLC:663399;AH:center;BGC:FFFFFF;LBGC:336699;ALC:0000FF;LC:0000FF;T:000000;GFNT:0000FF;GIMP:0000FF;LH:68;LW:94;L:http://designermichael.com/images/logoSmall.gif;S:http://;LP:1;FORID:1"></input>
    <input type="hidden" name="hl" value="en"></input>
    </td></tr></table>
    </form>
    </center>

    It doesn't. You can change the code they gave you if the strict doctype means that much to you, but it's probably more trouble than it's worth. Try a transitional doctype if you can, since google uses old tags like 'bgcolor' that are deprecated.

    Why not just change it to CSS and remove those deprecated attributes and elements?
