    Adjust column width

I have this page that I would like to adjust the width of the two columns:
    http://www.portlandwinegroup.com/distributors.html
The columns are set at 230px, but the right column is wider, or looks wider, if I set it to 240 px, the whole column breaks. how can I adjust it so the phone numbers are in the same place in both columns?

You need to close the <dl> in the first column and open a new <dl> in the second column, as the closing </div> puts the whole thing out of sync and 'closes' that definition list without the correct tag. That might be the problem you're having

You need to play a bit with your widths. Namely the width of your <dl>.

The widths are spot on because he has set the same width for both, the problem is that the <dl> needs closing in the first div, and reopening in the second. I've checked with borders and their widths will be exactly the same when this is done, and they will also look better as the right columns' <dl> will shift to the right slightly aligning it the same as the first column <dl>

I tried closing the first <dl> in the first column and creating a second one in the second column and it did not help. The phone numbers are still wrapping.

After creating the dl tags for the second column it all formatted correctly.

I see that my dl width is 200px so a have 30px to play with with in the 230px column width.

    Thanks for the help.
