    Repeat image over multiple lines

    Hi

    I hope someone can help me.
    I need to repeat an image over multiple lines (Dynamic code so lines will always vary)

    I have:
    Code:
    .answer {
      font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
      text-align: left;
      line-height: 125%;
      width: 610px;
      margin: 0px 0px 0px 5px;
      background-color: #fff;
      border: 1px solid #6C6C6C;
    }
    .answer h3 {
      font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;
      font-size: 12px;
      font-weight: normal;
      background: #fff url("../images/bg_topmodule_orange.gif") 0 0 repeat;
      #background: #d8373c;
      margin: 0px 0px 5px 0px;
      padding: 0px 0px 0px 5px;
      border-bottom: 1px solid #6C6C6C;
      color: #fff;
    }
    and

    Code:
    <div class="answer">
          <h3><u>Question [% question.q_number %]:<br /></u> [% question.q_text %]</h3>
    Problem is that [% question.q_number %] could be any length and sometimes goes on for multiple line, i.e. breaking at end of line.

    The result is the image looks likes its repeating horizontally. You can see a line between each vertical line.

    I hope I have explained it well enough.

    Thanks in advance

    Perhaps I don't quite get what you mean, but you can repeat a background image vertically with: repeat-y and horizontally with repeat-x.
