Floating a <div> container outside of its <div> container...

Cans somebody please take a look at the voting box here http://jyte.com/cl/smarty-is-the-bes...emplate-engine

(smack in the middle of the page) I looked at their css and cannot wrap my head around it. I am trying to float a <div> box outside of its <div> box by 50px but cannot figure out how. I can get the <div> box I want floated to display using the z-index property, but I cannot seem to figure out how it should be floated outside of its container... any ideas?

    Sincerely,
    Vince
I am on my way. :)

That site is centered, so it probably has a wrapper div of some kind. Have you tried just making the div you want, placing it on the next line within the wrapper div and applying some margin suited to your needs?
