bottom alignment of two floated items

I have two items floated one left (img) and one right (ul) how can I get them to align to the bottom of the parent element?

you can see a sample here: Sample Here The area I'm refering to is the header bar with the logo and black tabs. I want the black tabs to align to the bottom of the header area.

Hmm... I'm not sure what you mean by “aligned”. The tabs already seem to be at the bottom of the header area?
