    clickable area of lists....

I have one more question regarding unordered list... and this one is really bugging me. I have created a tree menu for my website using an unordered list. You can see a sample here:

    www.geocities.com/timdenton3000

You will notice that when you click in between one of the list items,
you are able to select and expand it without it selecting the tag
which it would link to. What i would like to do is expand the
clickable area of the tag or reduce the clickable area of the list
item to that its not possible to open one without the other.

I have tried entering display:block, which does enlarge the tags area but there is still space to click between the block area.

Not sure if im making sense here, but i think that the demo should
    explain itself.

I'd really appreciate some help with it, but im not sure if its a
    javascript or css issue?

    All the best:

I am confused. The only problem I see is that HEADING TWO is only visible after clicking HEADING ONE. Using FF.

Your right about the heading two being in the wrong place, that my fault... i've just truncated the whole list to try and give people an idea. But dont worry about that.

Basically, if you click on any of the pink or green sub headings it should expand the menu and lopen a new page in the right hand frame. (although there are no right pages here) If you click just inbetween two of the sub headings it is possible to open the list without activating the link. - i want to be able to activate both the list and link each time without any room for error.

I hope this makes sense - let me know if it doesn't?

    Well I am stuck.

IN FF I can see very little but for the google-type links on the right and a half-width scroll-bar at the bottom left.
